GLOBE – First Interstate  Bank officials presented a check for $75,000 to the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center (CVRMC) on August 19 at 10:30 a.m. in front of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center.

The funds will be used to support much-needed renovations to the only community pool in Globe, Arizona, serving residents of Gila County and the surrounding area. CVRMC has taken the lead on this multi-year initiative and has guaranteed to match the first $1.5 million in renovation costs on an overall project totaling $3.5 million.

“The pool serves as a center for health and well-being for our community, and we’re incredibly grateful our partners at First Interstate stepped up to support this effort,” said Neal Jensen, CEO of CVRMC.

Mike Adams, Market President of First Interstate  Bank, said this  gesture exemplifies First Interstate’s long-standing desire to give back to the communities it serves.
