Cincinnati Reds 2022 promotions on the schedule

The Cincinnati Reds begin the 2022 season on April 7 when they travel to Atlanta to play the Braves at 7:20 p.m. 

The Braves will be celebrating their 2021 World Series championship and the Reds are part of what the Braves are calling "Champions Week." The Braves will have a pennant ceremony before the Opening Day game against the Reds. 

On April 8, the Braves are honoring their 2021 award winners, April 9 there is a ring ceremony and on April 10, the Braves are giving posters away.

When the Reds return to Great American Ballpark, the team's home opener promotion on April 12 involves the schedule and magnets. 

Here are all the promotions to look for this season for the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark. 

The Reds will be handing out 2022 magnetic schedules on their home opener along with a car magnet before they play the Cleveland Guardians at 4:10 p.m. 

The game will follow the usual Opening Day events, including the parade. 

That would be April 22 against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Reds will have fireworks following every Friday home game. 

The Reds will have 11 "Fireworks Fridays" this season. 

Yes. The Reds play the New York Mets on July 4 at 6:40 p.m. at Great American Ballpark and there will be postgame fireworks. 

Reds mid-day, weekday games, like game No. 2 of the season on April 13 at 12:35 p.m., are "businessman specials" and that includes: 

For $20, fans can purchase a View Level ticket and receive $10 in concession credits. Drop your business card in the container at a Fan Accommodation Station and you could win tickets to the next Business Day Game. 

There are a handful of senior days and nights planned. That includes: 

Fans 50 and older may purchase select non-premium tickets at half-price in advance of game day only. Excludes Premium Seats, Fioptics District, Upper View Level, Value View and Kroger Bleachers. 

All Reds Thursday home games are considered "Thirsty Thursday" games. What does that mean: 

For all Thursday Reds home games, fans can purchase a $30 package that includes a Field Box or Terrace Line ticket and a $10 concession credit valid for food and beverages. Available only at reds.com/Thursday.

The 2021 National League Rookie of the Year is becoming one of the biggest stars on the team, and the Reds will be giving promotional jerseys away before the June 4 game against the Washington Nationals.
