An urgent recall has been issued for a popular protein bar after its incorrect packaging puts Australians at risk of an allergic reaction.
The INC Shred Max raspberry coconut flavour 60g bar has been recalled after being on sale at Chemist Warehouse stores across the country.
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand in a statement on Monday said the bars with a best before date of December 16, 2022 were packaged incorrectly and do not list peanuts as an ingredient.

'The recall is due to incorrect packaging which has resulted in the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut),' the statement said.
'The product packaging is for INC Shred Max Raspberry Coconut Flavour however the product inside is INC Shred Max Peanut Caramel Flavour.'
Aussies who have a peanut allergy or intolerance should not eat the protein bar and should return it to a Chemist Warehouse store for a full refund.
The pharmacy's website now lists peanuts, hazelnuts, and almonds under the products allergy warnings.
